Un style en vogue, le « contemporain » désigne un habitat dont la conception architecturale est plus libre, mais dont les structures sont plus fonctionnelles, sans délaisser le côté esthétique. Les murs ne sont plus hermétiques, mais laisse passer plus de lumière naturelle. Les matériaux sont plus diversifiés, de même que les couleurs des façades et des ouvertures, etc.


Les ouvertures jouent d’ailleurs un rôle essentiel dans cette recherche d’équilibre entre confort, esthétisme et performance énergétique. Sinon, la maison contemporaine est un peu plus exigeante en termes de conception.



Construction de maison contemporaine : les modalités


Ce n’est pas pour rien qu’on appelle souvent maison d’architecte, la maison contemporaine. Car de manière générale, un tel type de maison nécessite une haute précision dans les détails de sa conception. Mais surtout, la construction de cet habitat fait appel à un plus large panel de corps de métiers. Un architecte, un ingénieur ou un professionnel qui a la qualité de maître d’ouvrage déterminera la qualité du terrain, sa topographie, l’orientation de la construction, etc. Il pourra aussi identifier les types de matériaux et les éléments adéquats.


Le plan de la maison contemporaine est ensuite établi en fonction des données des études préalables.
